Metropolis
Metropolis is an idle city builder about the skyline you can actually see. Every cottage, tower, power plant and park you buy is drawn into the city view and lit up at night.
Tap the ground for your first dollars. Buy a cottage and someone moves in. Shops give them jobs, jobs pay taxes, taxes buy the next building — and then the lights start flickering, because everything you built draws power.
- Housing — nothing grows without somewhere to live.
- Jobs — shops, factories and offices turn people into income.
- Power — under-build the grid and the city browns out.
- Happiness — smog, unemployment and crowding all bite.
Most of what you can build stays hidden until the city is big enough to find it. Keep going and you will reach the point where the only way forward is to leave this city behind — what you carry out of it is the rest of the game.
Plays in the browser, saves as you go, and keeps earning while you are away.
