Pest Control
Loading game for the first time...
Plants fight bugs. Pest Control is a small tower defence about a garden under siege: aphids, beetles, shieldbugs and the occasional queen march up the dirt road, and the only thing standing between them and your last row of soil is what you've managed to grow.
You start with one free plant. Everything else you have to earn — kill pests for seeds, spend seeds on packets, and open packets to find out which plant you just unlocked.
What's in the garden
- Seven plants, each with a job — the Corn Cobbler pings kernels down the lane, the Chomp Flower swallows whatever walks past its mouth, the Sunflower fights nothing and pays out seeds instead, the Sticky Sundew, Mint, Nettle and Dandelion each bend the lane a different way.
- Four pests and three mutations — from wave 8 a bug can roll armoured, winged (a mouth can't reach it) or hungry (it eats your plants).
- Seed packets in three tiers, upgrades, uprooting, a compost meter that pays you for sweeping up husks, and an endless mode once the eight-wave campaign is done.
- The Designer's Notebook — the whole game was designed on paper by a kid, drawing by drawing. The notebook in the main menu shows each pencil sketch next to the sprite it became.
